Positive Puppy Program classes are designed for dogs younger than 20 weeks of age. If your puppy is older than 20 weeks, please consider one of our Good Manners classes.
“PUPPY PRESCHOOL” NEW PUPPY CONSULTATION
Bringing a new puppy home is full of excitement and joy…but elation can quickly turn to frustration if you have not adequately prepared your home and family for the arrival of your new four-legged bundle of joy. Puppy Preschool will help you properly set up your home with safe zones and provide a good foundation for early puppy training and management. Whether you have already brought your puppy home, or will be soon, this in-home session covers “all things puppy”, including socialization, house and crate training, diet, exercise & play, grooming, puppy biting, chewing, barking, and veterinary visits. Includes Puppy Preschool information packet. This class is designed for puppies up to 19 weeks of age. 90 minute consultation.
POSITIVE PUPPY PACKAGE (6 SESSIONS)
Get your puppy started out on the right paw! This is the best time to teach your dog the behaviors you want for the rest of your lives together. The Positive Puppy training package includes the Puppy Preschool Consultation, plus five weekly one hour in-home training sessions with your family and your puppy. Training will focus on socialization, house training, crate training, bite inhibition, jumping, leash walking, as well as addressing any additional behavior challenges that may crop up. Your puppy will also learn several basic good manners behaviors such as name recognition, sit, down, come, trade it, stay, and polite leash walking, polite greetings. Includes Puppy Preschool information packet, clicker & wristband, and syllabus. This class is designed for puppies from 8 to 19 weeks of age.
